Wisdom is hard to come by, but late teenagers might feel it emerging from their gums in the form of teeth. These are called wisdom teeth and, lucky for you, our dentist, Dr. Brian Frandsen, and our associates have the ability to remove them.

Also called the third molars, the wisdom teeth grow into the back of the mouth, usually between the ages of 17 – 21. Though they can help with chewing, the third molars can grow in incorrectly. They can be blocked by the second molar or get stuck in the jaw which can cause oral pain and can also push the bottom teeth together, making them misaligned.

You don’t need to worry about your wisdom teeth, though, because Dr. Brian Frandsen can identify if you have wisdom teeth problems. If he identifies dilemmas with the teeth, he will likely remove them. This is an easy process, and he may recommend you to another specialist if further treatment is needed..

Our office will begin the treatment by giving you an anaesthetic that will either put you to sleep or numb your mouth. Then the teeth are removed. That’s all there is to it.
